How it works
If you think you might be interested in giving psychotherapy a try, please contact me by phone for a chat, or send me an email and I will try to respond within 24 hours. We would then organize an introductory session.
Our introductory session is where we begin the process of getting to know each other, and decide whether we would be happy to work together.
Whether I’m working with individuals or couples, I don’t have any expectations of what you should say or how you should be in your introductory session. This is your time to share anything that is on your mind. If you want to, we can discuss your goals for counselling and how we can work together to achieve them.
My work with individuals is open-ended, meaning I don’t prescribe to a fixed number of sessions. You can leave whenever you like, although ideally we would discuss this together.
Similarly, my work with couples is open-ended, although the EFT way of working involves three clear stages of progress which ideally we would complete.
Sessions take place either at the Rock Clinic in Brighton & Hove, or at the private office at my home in Welbeck Avenue BN3 (where parking is freely available).
Individuals – £55.00 per session (50 minutes)
Couples – £70.00 per session (50 minutes)
Lower rates are available for daytime appointments, and for students and unemployed clients.
Please note that 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
