How it works

If you think you might be interested in giving counselling a try, please contact me by phone for a chat, or send me an email and I will try to respond within 24 hours. We would then organize an introductory session.

Our introductory session is where we begin the process of getting to know each other, and decide whether we would be happy to work together.

Whether I’m working with individuals or couples, I don’t have any expectations of what you should say or how you should be in your introductory session. This is your time to share anything that is on your mind. If you want to, we can discuss your goals for counselling and how we can work together to achieve them.

My work with individuals is open-ended, meaning I don’t prescribe to a fixed number of sessions. You can leave whenever you like, although ideally we would discuss this together.

Similarly, my work with couples is open-ended, although the EFT way of working involves three clear stages of progress which ideally we would complete.

Sessions take place either at the Rock Clinic  in Brighton & Hove, or at the private office at my home in Welbeck Avenue BN3 (where parking is freely available).

Fees
Individuals – £50.00 per session (50 minutes)
Couples – £60.00 per session (50 minutes)
Concessions for students, low-waged and unemployed are available.
Please note that 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations, otherwise the fee is payable.
